Forest Green returned to winning ways in style, recording a 3-0 victory at fellow play-off hopefuls Colchester.
Mark Cooper's side went into the match on the back of three straight defeats but they deserved their victory.
After Colchester's Ben Stevenson had gone close, Forest Green took a 21st-minute lead through Liam Shephard who lashed home after Reece Brown had burst down the left and picked him out.
And the visitors went further ahead 12 minutes later when Shephard raced down the right and found Brown, who slotted home low to make it 2-0.
Frank Nouble's fierce effort was parried away by Rovers keeper Lewis Ward at his near post on the hour mark, as Colchester looked to reduce the deficit.
Ward denied Stevenson before Rovers added a third through Christian Doidge with nine minutes remaining when he finished from close range after Brown's assist had broken the offside trap.
Nouble was dismissed after picking up a second booking with five minutes to go, as Forest Green claimed a big win.
