Michael Cheek's second-half finish earned Bromley a first win in six games as they edged out Crewe by a 1-0 margin in League Two.
Andy Woodman's side worked hard for their success after Cheek's 52nd-minute strike at the Mornflake Stadium, although Crewe offered little quality in front of goal.
Cheek made amends for wasting an early chance when Crewe skipper Mickey Demetriou lost his footing, leaving the striker free on the edge of the box in the third minute, only to shoot straight at goalkeeper Tom Booth.

With fit-again Jack Lankester making his first start of the campaign, Crewe offered a first-half threat, but the attacker missed two opportunities in the space of a couple of minutes.
First, after cutting inside, Lankester drove past the far post and then he was thwarted by a deflection.
The Railwaymen struggled to break down the Ravens' well-organised rearguard and faded as a force, falling behind soon after the break.
When James Connolly failed to clear a routine ball from Jude Arthurs, Cheek slipped and executed a neat finish through Booth's legs after 52 minutes.
The striker was a threat again minutes later when Booth did well to turn around his close-range volley.
Substitute Nicke Kabamba went close to adding a second for the visitors with a far-post header which was turned around by Booth.
