Exeter are likely to make changes when they face bottom-placed Macclesfield at home.
The Grecians have not won in Sky Bet League Two since October 13, a six-match run which has seen them drop out of the automatic promotion places.
Chiedozie Ogbene, Jonathan Forte and Matt Jay offer extra attacking options and boss Matt Taylor could also make alterations elsewhere. Midfielder Lee Martin and full-back Dean Moxey are pushing for starting spots, but long-term absentees Hiram Boateng, Troy Brown and Alex Hartridge remain out.
Macclesfield beat Yeovil on Saturday for only their second win of the season, but the Silkmen remain seven points from safety. Player-manager Danny Whitaker hopes his squad will be bolstered by the return of defender Jared Hodgkiss (ankle).
But Jordan Ponticelli (metatarsal) is likely to miss out again. The return to fitness of Whitaker, Elliott Durrell and Ryan Lloyd has boosted Macclesfield, who on Sunday parted company with joint assistant manager Neil Howarth.
Exeter are unbeaten in eight league games against Macclesfield (W4 D4) since going down 0-1 back in October 1999.
Macclesfield are winless in four league games at St. James Park (D3 L1), scoring just one goal in that run.
Exeter are winless in their last six league games (D4 L2), after winning five of their previous seven (D2).
Macclesfield have won two of their last six league games (L4), as many as they managed in their previous 45 in the Football League (D14 L29).
Exeter City's Jayden Stockley has scored 11 goals from 20 shots on target in League Two this season - only Tranmere Rovers' James Norwood has scored more (13).
