A goal late in each half steered Heracles Almelo to three points as they beat NEC Nijmegen 2-0 at the Polman Stadion.
Lerin Duarte opened the scoring in the 38th minute after a cross from Robin Propper saw the midfielder fire home from the edge of the box.
The victory was wrapped up with six minutes of normal time to play in the second half as Samuel Armenteros fired home from close range after latching onto the end of a Jaroslav Navratil cross.
It sees Heracles move up from 11th to eighth in the Eredivisie table ahead of the weekend action, while NEC remain 12th.
