Second-half strikes from Shaun Brisley and Terry Dunfield were enough for Macclesfield to sneak past Ryman Premier League side Harlow 2-0 and book their place in the FA Cup second round. Harlow, who sit 60 places below Macclesfield in the football pyramid, gave as good as they got and striker Tashan Adeyinka spurned two good chances. He was made to pay as Brisley headed home after 64 minutes before Dunfield wrapped up the result with a long-range effort. After a scrappy opening, it was the home side who settled quickest and they should have drawn first blood after 17 minutes. Skipper James Bunn's testing low cross was met by an onrushing Adeyinka but the striker could only screw his shot wide from six-yards out. Ten minutes later Brisley rose high to power in Ahmed Deen's corner and four minutes from time Dunfield sweetly connected with a shot from just outside the area to seal the victory.
