Highlights of the Sky Bet League One game between Luton and Barnsley

A late winner from Kasey Palmer means Luton’s play-off hopes will go down to the final game of the season as they beat Barnsley 2-1 at Kenilworth Road.

Town went close inside 90 seconds when Emilio Lawrence's fierce attempt was parried behind by Owen Goodman.

They did lead after 16 minutes as Luca Connell fouled Hakeem Odoffin in the box, with Nahki Wells converting the penalty for his 10th of the season.

Barnsley were level on 26 minutes, Reyes Cleary's shot parried by Josh Keeley and Adam Phillips heading in the rebound.

Lawrence sliced over, while the winger's cross was guided wide by Wells from close range.

Odoffin had his 25-yarder gathered by Goodman, as the second period saw Barnsley look the more likely, substitute David McGoldrick fluffing an inviting chance on the hour mark.

Luton then triumphed when Liam Walsh's corner was met by Mads Andersen, Palmer sweeping home from close range in the 79th minute.

McGoldrick put two decent chances over late on, and the Hatters will travel to Bolton knowing a win could see them finish in the top six.
