Manchester City Women powered into the semi-finals of the Continental Cup with a 7-1 victory over Brighton on Thursday.
Having seen the men's team win 9-0 the previous night, City's women came close to matching them as they joined Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the last four.
Nikita Parris put City ahead in the fifth minute against Brighton when she scored her 50th goal for the club.
But Brighton soon levelled as Karen Bardsley was adjudged to have brought down Iniabasi Umotong in the box and Danielle Buet scored from the penalty spot.
Lauren Hemp restored City's lead in the 23rd minute and Caroline Weir made it 3-1 after half-time.
City added gloss to the scoreline as they netted four times in the closing stages.
Hemp scored her second of the game before Claire Emslie, Georgia Stanway and Janine Beckie also got on the scoresheet.
The draw for the semi-finals takes place at half-time of Sheffield United's game with QPR on Saturday, which is being played at Bramall Lane, the venue for the Continental Cup final.
