West Ham recalled Diego Poyet from MK Dons on Monday and sent him back out on loan to Charlton.

Poyet, the son of former Chelsea and Tottenham player Gus Poyet, joined the Hammers from Charlton on a four-year contract in 2014.

However, the 20-year-old struggled to break into the first team at Upton Park and was sent out on loan after making just three appearances.

He spent a month at Huddersfield before joining MK Dons on a season-long long in August and made 18 appearances for the Championship side before dropping out of favour.
