Hearts forward Osman Sow still in frame for Edinburgh derby despite China move

Hearts forward Osman Sow could seal a move to China on Wednesday - but he may still make a farewell appearance in Sunday's Edinburgh derby.

Sow travelled to China at the weekend to discuss a move to Henan Jianye that is set to net Hearts a reported £1m-plus transfer fee.

But, with the transfer window in China open for several more weeks, the 25-year-old Swedish forward could make one final appearance for Hearts in the Scottish Cup fifth-round clash with Hibernian at Tynecastle.

Director of football Craig Levein wrote on Twitter on Tuesday: "Osman medical today/tomorrow, will know tomorrow if deal going through, can play Sunday if needed. Part of deal."
