Being relegated is a low moment in any player's career - but how about suffering the drop twice in one afternoon?

That's what happened to Aston Villa youngster Lewis Kinsella on Saturday.

Not only did the 21-year-old defender's parent club have their demotion from the Premier League confirmed with a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United, but his loan club Kidderminster Harriers were relegated from the National League following a 0-0 draw at Barrow.

Kinsella has made six appearances for Kidderminster and played all 90 minutes against Barrow but, despite the club winning their two previous league games, their 11-year stay in the National League is over.

Kinsella is yet to make his Villa debut but that may well come in the Championship next season.
