MK Dons have completed the signing of goalkeeper Lee Nicholls from Wigan Athletic.
The 23-year-old joins the League One side on a free transfer and has penned a two-year deal.
Nicholls progressed through Wigan's youth system and made 12 appearances during his time at the DW Stadium.
"I'm over the moon. There were a couple of clubs interested but I feel MK Dons are going in the right direction - it was a no brainer for me," Nicholls told the Dons' official website.
"I wasn't really getting a chance at Wigan - I want to play games, so all I can do is work hard and really push for playing time."
Nicholls has had previous loan spells at Hartlepool, Shrewsbury, Sheffield Wednesday, Accrington and Northampton.
And it was the spell at Northampton, during which he made 51 appearances that caught the attention of MK Dons boss Karl Robinson.
"I worked with him at Liverpool when he was a central-midfield player and he came back two years later as a goalkeeper," he said.
"He's someone who I'm really excited about. He's six-foot-five and his feet are outstanding. (Andy) King used to tell me every Saturday when he was manager of Northampton, that he was brilliant. I also spoke to Tim Flowers as well and he raved about him."
