Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain has completed a move to Blackpool on a season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old, part of the Premier League champions' Development Squad, made his first-team debut for the Foxes in August 2014 and spent the majority of the 2014/15 campaign on loan to League One side Walsall.

During his time with the Saddlers, he reached the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley, made a total of 38 appearances and found the net on three occasions.

Signed by Leicester for an initial five-figure fee from Luton Town in 2011, Cain picked up the club's Academy Player of the Year award in 2012/13 and is renowned for being a dynamic, box-to-box midfielder.

He trained with his new team-mates for the first time on Thursday.
