Bristol Rovers have signed goalkeeper Joe Lumley from QPR on loan until the end of the season.

Since moving to Loftus Road in 2010, the 22-year-old has enjoyed loan spells with Bishop's Stortford, Accrington, Morecambe and Stevenage.

He has made two first-team appearances for QPR - a 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest in January 2016 and 1-1 draw against Blackburn in the Championship four days later.

Rovers manager Darrell Clarke told the Pirates' official website: "With Kelle Roos having been recalled by Derby and Steve Mildenhall still missing through injury, it was important that we recruited another goalkeeper to provide both competition and cover for us.

"Joe is a talented young goalkeeper and I would like to welcome him to the Memorial Stadium and thank QPR for allowing him to join us and our own board of directors for agreeing to the deal."
