Blackpool have completed the loan signings of Ryan Allsop and Callum Cooke until the end of the season.

Goalkeeper Allsop comes with Premier League experience, having played for Bournemouth at the end of last season, while Middlesbrough midfielder Cooke played for Crewe last term.

Gary Bowyer has been busy strengthening his squad following promotion to Sky Bet League One, with Cooke the ninth player to arrive at Bloomfield Road this summer.

Cooke, an attacking midfielder, told the Blackpool website: "I can't wait to get started. Thankfully I did well last season in League Two and I've made a step up now, so hopefully I can take it into League One this time.

"I want to add some creativity to the midfield here and get a few goals and assists again. I hope I can show everybody, including the fans, what I can do."

Allsop, who has struggled for regular game-time since a loan spell with Portsmouth in 2016, added: "I can get settled here now and fully concentrate on my football and progressing myself, and hopefully this club as well."
