Connor told the club website: "It's great to be here. When I heard Hearts were interested I jumped at it. I couldn't turn it down, it's a great club and I can't wait to get going."

Hearts coach Ian Cathro said: "Connor's a very hungry young player, athletically excellent and has experience in a number of positions.

"He brings a great intensity to his play and I probably go back to the hunger that he has at this stage in his career.

"He's a player that I'm really pleased to have been able to bring, he's someone who we've been tracking for some time. We're pleased that he's joined us."
