Burnley have signed Birmingham City goalkeeper Adam Legzdins for an undisclosed fee.

The 30-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the Clarets and becomes the club's fifth senior summer signing.

Burnley have been on the hunt for 'keeper competition for Tom Heaton after veteran Paul Robinson retired this summer, with Legzdins coming in to fill that void.

The 30-year-old is something of a Football League journeyman, having played for three clubs - Halifax, Macclesfield and Oldham - on loan while a trainee at St Andrews.

He then moved to Crewe Alexandra on a free transfer, spent time on loan at Weymouth, before joining Burton Albion also at the end of his contract.
