Leicester boss Claude Puel says his players are still focused on their remaining Premier League games despite being safe from relegation.

The Foxes are 15 points clear of the drop zone despite not winning any of their last three games, but Puel insists they have not taken their foot off the gas as they prepare to travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

"We have players with quality and they are not on holiday," he said.

Puel took charge in October when Leicester were 14th in the table and had won only two of their first nine games.

But since then they have won nine league matches and moved up to ninth in the standings with 44 points.

"I think it is important to see our journey. When I got here in October I had to save the club. The most important thing is to think about our play and to improve," said Puel.

Puel was also asked at his press conference on Thursday about the futures of Premier League-winning centre-backs Wes Morgan and Robert Huth after club captain Morgan was dropped for the 0-0 draw with Southampton last week.

"We will have a discussion with Robert in a few days and after that we will see what happens. He's an important player in the dressing room," said the Frenchman.

"There's no problem with Wes. I was surprised after the last game about all the questions around Wes.

"He is the captain of the dressing room and a very good player for us. It's not a problem. It's important to keep good options for next season."
