Oldham have re-signed former Everton and Sheffield United midfielder Jose Baxter.
The 26-year-old has penned a one-year contract with an option of a further year.
Baxter first joined the Latics in 2012 and scored 17 goals in 50 appearances before leaving to join Sheffield United in 2013.
He was handed a five-month suspension by the FA in July 2015 after failing a drugs test and was released by the Blades a year later.
Baxter returned to Everton - the club where he started his career - on a 12-month deal in July 2017. He worked with the club's U23s and did not make a first-team appearance.
