Rangers midfielder Graham Dorrans to undergo knee surgery

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has confirmed midfielder Graham Dorrans is set to undergo knee surgery which will rule him out for "a few months".
Dorrans joined Rangers from Norwich last summer under former boss Pedro Caixinha but his time at his boyhood club has been plagued by injury.
An ankle injury sustained against Kilmarnock last October ruled him out for five months before he picked up a knee problem towards the end of the campaign. In total he made just 20 appearances last season.
He had to return early from Rangers' Spanish pre-season training camp due to injury but made his comeback as a substitute against Villarreal in the Europa League in September.
Another appearance from the bench in the win over St Johnstone three days later was then followed by a start against Ayr in the Betfred Cup.
However, last week Gerrard revealed Dorrans was set to see a surgeon after suffering a setback and has now confirmed that the midfielder is facing another spell on the sidelines.
Gerrard said: "Graham, along with the medical staff and the surgeons have decided the best way for him is to have surgery on his knee.
"So he will be missing for definite for a few months."
