Fulham have denied Aboubakar Kamara has joined Yeni Malatyaspor despite the Turkish side unveiling the striker at a press conference on Thursday.

Kamara flew to Turkey on Wednesday ahead of a loan move and was presented to the media on Thursday.

But Fulham have told Sky Sports News a deal to sign the striker had not been completed before Kamara's unveiling.

The 23-year-old had been suspended by the Cottagers pending internal disciplinary proceedings due to a training ground incident last week.

He was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and criminal damage, and the forward has now opted for a fresh start in Turkey, despite interest in the Frenchman from Sky Bet Championship side West Brom.
