Franck Dumas keen on strengthening side
Newly promoted Caen are reportedly keen on strengthening their side in a bid to climb the table.
Caen are currently rooted to the bottom of Ligue 1, and have recorded just one victory in their opening seven games.
Having lost several players to injury the club have been linked with Algerian international Abdelmarek Cherrad, who is currently available on a free transfer.
Caen coach Franck Dumas is also reportedly interested in Nice defender Jacques Abardonado.
Abardonado has found first-team football hard to come by this season, so any offer could well appeal to the 29-year-old.
