Defender to remain at Priestfield for further month
Adam Bygrave will remain at Gillingham for a further month after extending his loan deal from Reading.
The defender has made seven appearances for the Gills in League One this season and has impressed enough for manager Mark Stimson to prolong his stay at the Priestfield Stadium.
With the club currently sitting just four points outside the relegation zone and with Simon King having picked up a hamstring injury, Stimson is delighted to have been able to retain Bygrave's services.
Good attitude
"Adam is a good young player and is developing all the time," he told the club's
official website.
"He has a good attitude in training and wants to improve. We are giving him priceless first-team opportunities and I think Reading realise that is a great benefit to the boy."
Bygrave is delighted he will be remaining at the club for a third month as it offers him the opportunity to continue playing regular first-team football.
Learning
"I'm pleased that the deal has been extended for a further month," he said.
"I am learning all the time and the boys are good here at Gillingham.
"First-team football is vital to my development so it's a good move for both clubs as well as me personally."
