Luton boss Mick Harford has confirmed Don Hutchison will not be staying at the club next season.
The former Scotland international has been told he does not figure in Harford's plans for next term.
Harford is making plans for the squad following their relegation to League Two and Hutchison is set to be one of several departures.
"Don Hutchison wants to get into coaching and I wish him all the best but I don't see him as part of Luton's future," said Harford.
"We have to move people out to bring people in because of the wage bill.
"I've got to bring people in who we can afford to pay.
"We have collated a list of players we want but because of our administration it is only a list - we are not allowed to approach any players."
