Midfielder signs new one-year deal at Brisbane Road

Paul Terry will remain at Leyton Orient for an additional season after agreeing a new one-year deal. The midfielder, who is the older brother of Chelsea captain John Terry, impressed manager Martin Ling after joining Orient last summer from Yeovil. Terry secured a regular spot in the heart of Ling's midfield and the Brisbane Road boss is delighted that the 29-year-old will be available next term. Defender Alton Thelwell and goalkeeper Glenn Morris have already agreed new deals as Ling plans for an improvement on last season's 14th-placed League One finish. "I am very pleased Paul has agreed to sign a new contract," Ling told Orient's official website. "All three of Alton, Glenn and now Paul have accepted their deals and that's a lot better then the situation we had last year. "Paul had an excellent season and he'll be looking to build on that - I'm delighted he's staying with us."
