Experienced striker joins on non-contract terms
Malcolm Christie made his debut for Leeds United on Monday in the FA Cup after joining the club on non-contract terms.
Former Derby and Middlesbrough striker Christie has been training with Leeds recently in a bid to improve match fitness, although it was not officially considered a trial.
The 29-year-old, who few thought had actually joined the club, was handed a surprise start in Monday's FA Cup replay against Northampton and impressed before tiring late on.
Leeds won 5-2 at Sixfields on Monday and McAllister believes Christie has earned the right to play for the League One outfit.
