Midfielder impresses in training to earn contract
Bristol Rovers have signed former Queens Park Rangers midfielder Richard Langley on a short-term contract.
Langley has been available on a free transfer since being released by Luton Town at the end of last season.
He trained with Rovers in August, only for a hamstring injury to cut short the 28-year-old's stint at the Memorial Stadium.
However, he has been training with Paul Trollope's side for the past month and has been rewarded with a deal by the League One club.
Director of football Lennie Lawrence told the club's official website: "We are delighted to announce that we are taking Richard on a short-term contract, to add competition for places in our midfield.
"He has a very impressive pedigree and will be an assest to our squad."
