Midfielder hoping to move to Spain in the summer

Brahim Hemdani says it is 'certain' that he will leave Rangers at the end of the season and he is hoping for a move to Spain. The Algerian midfielder has not featured for Gers this season and his contract at Ibrox expires in the summer. Reports suggest that Rangers are keen to shed Hemdani from their wage bill, although the 30-year-old is happy to wait until the summer to leave the Old Firm giants. "My contract ends this year and what is certain is I will leave Rangers to look for a new challenge," said Hemdani in the Daily Record. "The Scottish league is pretty boring outside of Old Firm games. "There is very little real competition and the fact the club didn't qualify for the Champions League made things worse. "The time is coming for me to leave and begin a new chapter in my career. Spain is the place that really appeals."
