Reading have confirmed that America international Bobby Convey has left the club.
The 25-year-old midfielder joined The Royals in 2004 from DC United.
He has gone on to make nearly 100 first-team appearances, but has now departed The Madejski Stadium after he agreed to cancel his contract by mutual consent.
"It hasn't worked out recently, but he will always have a place in our history," director of football Nick Hammond confirmed.
Convey's agent has confirmed that Convey has a number of offers to return to Major League Soccer.
"We have been approached by a number of MLS teams who have enquired about (Convey's) level of interest in returning," said Dan Segal.
"At this point, he is just listening, and not making any decisions."
