Carlisle have announced that striker Kevin Gall is to leave the club at the end of the season.
Striker to have contract terminated
Carlisle manager Greg Abbott has announced that Kevin Gall is to leave the club at the end of the season following an agreement to terminate the striker's contract.
The 27-year-old made more than 75 appearances for Carlisle and he scored 11 goals in that time.
His last appearance came as a substitute during the 1-0 defeat by Doncaster in January 2008 and he has had loan periods with Lincoln and Port Vale this season.
"Kev is keen to get himself first-team football again and he knew that wasn't going to happen for him here," Abbott told the club's
official website.
"He has had a couple of loan spells and I think he wants something more permanent so we wish him well as he moves on.
"He has asked if he can train with us to keep on top of his fitness and we don't see any problem with that at all so he will stay here until he gets himself fixed up."
