Blackburn youngster signs on with Accrington

League Two Accrington Stanley have snapped up defender Dean Winnard from Premier League neighbours Blackburn. The 19-year-old Winnard has sealed the move after being freed by the Ewood Park outfit. The club also confirmed that goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin, Andrew Procter and John Miles, Phill Edwards, Bobby Grant, Jimmy Ryan, Chris Turner and Peter Murphy have agreed their new deals with the club. Youth team graduates Alan Burton and Bee Ami have also been handed their first pro-contracts. But one player leaving is young defender Jay Bell, who has turned down the club's offer of a new deal. Manager John Coleman also confirmed he is continuing talks with a number of players including Godwin Antwi, Luke Joyce, Greg Blundell, Michael Symes and Craig Lindfield.
