Midfielder waiting on Shakers move
Mark Hudson has told
skysports.com that he is hopeful he has done enough to earn a move to Bury.
The former Rotherham United midfielder has been training at Gigg Lane following his release from Blackpool earlier this season.
And the 28-year-old says he he would jump at the chance to join Bury permanently.
"Things are going well. Alan Knill gave me the opportunity to train with them last week, which I did, and I played in a game this week for them, which went reasonably well and he wants me to go back in tomorrow," he told
skysports.com.
"Hopefully he will offer me something because I'm enjoying it here. I've got one or two other irons in the fire, but the Bury one is the one I'm really hoping comes off.
"I'm an experienced professional now and I've been around a bit, so he
(Knill) knew all about me before I came and I've played against his teams on a number of occasions.
"He will have done his homework by asking the staff at Rotherham to see if I'm a good character for the dressing room, so hopefully I'll get a chance here.
"I've been to a number of clubs this summer and thought I was going to get something and it didn't work out, so I'm not getting carried away."
