Loan move resurrected after knee surgery
Port Vale have finally completed the loan capture of Jamie Guy from Colchester on a three-month deal.
The striker spent much of the summer linking up with Micky Adams' squad during pre-season but a move broke down as he underwent knee surgery.
With the much-travelled 22-year-old now recovered from his spell on the sidelines, the move has been resurrected and he will stay at Vale Park until 6th January.
Guy has spent much of his U's career being loaned out, with Cambridge and Oxford among his former clubs and the Valiants becoming his sixth loan move.
The switch comes after Vale confirmed the departure of 20-year-old striker Steve Thompson, who had his contract terminated by mutual consent on Tuesday.
