Jamie Guy has returned to Colchester after his loan spell at Port Vale was cut short. The 22-year-old joined League Two Vale last month and was due to stay with Micky Adams' side until 6th January. However, the Londoner has returned to League One Colchester after making just five appearances for Vale. Guy had become increasingly frustrated with his peripheral role, with just one of those appearances coming from the start.
