Defender and striker leave Albion
Burton have allowed defender Aaron Brown and striker Serge Makofo to leave the Pirelli Stadium.
Both players were on short-term deals until the end of the season with the Brewers, but have been deemed surplus to requirements.
Defender Brown, 26, who played for Yeovil last term, fell down the pecking order following the arrival of Richard Jackson and only made three appearances for Burton.
Makofo, contrastingly, made an instant impression when he first arrived, scoring a hat-trick for the reserves against Macclesfield.
However, he failed to make any impact in the first XI and Paul Peschisolido has opted to release him.
Burton's next game in League Two is a trip to Christie Park to play Morecambe next Saturday.
