Ecuador midfielder Christian Noboa's agent claims to be in discussions with English clubs.
The South American playmaker is currently in Russia on the books of Rubin Kazan, who he helped to title glory last season.
Rubin's success, both at home and in Europe, has alerted other clubs to the potential of their star men and interest has begun to mount.
Spanish giants Valencia were reported to be tracking Noboa earlier this season, but have since turned their attention elsewhere.
He remains a target for a number of Premier League sides, though, with his representative revealing that talks have already been opened regarding a possible summer switch.
"I am in touch with some important people from England who are interested in Noboa," said Jorge Guerrero.
"I have had some conversations and even some negotiations, which are progressing well.
"This, considering the interest from England and the fact his current team will not stand in the way, means Noboa has at least one foot in the Premier League at the moment."
