Grayson and Warnock chase Jamaican internationals
Ferencvaros manager Craig Short claims to have been contacted by two English managers about Jason Morrison and Rafe Wolfe.
Jamaican internationals Morrison and Wolfe are both out of contract at Ferencvaros in the summer and speculation suggests they could move on.
Short is not surprised by the amount of interest that has already been shown in the duo, admitting that several clubs from across Europe have been in touch.
Crystal Palace and Leeds have both been linked with Morrison and Wolfe and Short is resigned to losing them at the end of the season.
"I know that the reported teams would like to sign my players," former Sheffield United defender Short told Hungarian website
Pepsifoci.
"Wolfe and Morrison are international players and their contracts expire this summer. They have performed well since I've been the head coach.
"Rafe can play well not only as a centre or right-sided defender but also on the right side of the midfield.
"He's fast and has great skills, while Jason is a classic defensive midfielder with great physical abilities."
Offers
Short admits Leeds manager Simon Grayson is one manager to have made an approach, while the other is Neil Warnock.
It is understood that Warnock was keen on taking Morrison and Wolfe to Palace before he left to take charge of Queens Park Rangers and it remains to be seen whether he will rekindle his interest, or indeed if Palace will remain in pursuit.
Short said: "It'll be difficult to keep them, honestly I don't think it will be possible.
"They have offers not only from England but also from Spain and Germany.
"In the latest days and weeks two coaches contacted me from England: Leeds manager Simon Grayson and my good friend Neil Warnock who's now coaching Queens Park Rangers."
