Sutton shows striker the door at Sincil Bank

Lincoln City have announced that Paul Connor has had his contract terminated by mutual consent. The striker suffered from injury after joining the Imps as a free agent from Cheltenham Town last summer. Connor missed five months of the season after sustaining a serious knee problem in September and as a result Lincoln have decided they can no longer justify his position at Sincil Bank. The 31-year-old will now be on the hunt for a new club during the summer, while Imps boss Chris Sutton may look to bring in cover. Connor made 17 League and Cup appearances for Lincoln and the club have thanked him for his services.
