Milton Keynes Dons have released four players following Karl Robinson's confirmation as the club's new manager. Robinson was named as Paul Ince's replacement earlier in the week and has started to shape his squad for next season by letting Darren Powell, Sol Davis, David King and Lewis Gobern leave. Powell, 34, has played in the Premier League with Crystal Palace and has featured prominently for the Dons, making 27 appearances including some important displays towards the end the campaign. Davis, King and Gobern's current deals also expire on 30th June and they join Powell on the released list. Meanwhile, Robinson wants his team's discipline to improve next season after the Dons picked up eight red and 129 yellow cards this term. "As you saw this season it can play a huge part in the season as we were robbed of our best players far too often," said Robinson. "I've got to stamp it out and stamp it out quickly. I will sit down with the captain and we will control it. I know I can change that."
