Swansea are set to make a decision on striker Jhon van Beukering this week, who is currently on trial with the club.
The 26-year-old Dutch forward has been given the chance to prove his worth at the Liberty Stadium and linked up with the squad on Monday.
Van Beukering is currently a free agent having been released by NEC Nijmegen at the end of the season.
He netted 15 goals in 47 games for NEC during his three-year spell with the club, having had previous stints at De Graafschap and Vitesse Arnhem.
New manager Brendan Rodgers took his first training session at Swansea on Monday having been appointed on Friday, and Van Beukering will be keen to impress.
The Dutch ace could play for the Swans during a friendly clash with Llanelli on Tuesday night.
