Former Lions & Bantams man facing 25 years in prison
Footballer Gavin Grant has been jailed for life after being found guilty of murder.
The former Millwall striker shot dead former friend Leon Labastide, 21, in Harlesden in 2004.
The 26-year-old had been cleared in August 2007 of the shooting murder of Jahmall Moore.
But justice caught up with him when he was charged with Mr Labastide's murder after new witnesses came forward.
Grant has been told he will have to serve at least 25 years in prison at the hearing at the Old Bailey.
During his football career Grant also played for Bradford City and Wycombe.
