Hannover are close to agreeing a deal which will see former Rangers winger DaMarcus Beasley join the club.

Bundesliga outfit also interested in N'Guemo

Hannover are close to agreeing a deal which will see former Rangers winger DaMarcus Beasley join the club. The USA international is currently available as a free agent after leaving Ibrox over the summer. He has already travelled to Germany for talks with Hannover and their general manager, Jorg Schmadtke, admits an agreement is imminent. "We have been trying to sign Tamas Hajnal from Borussia Dortmund, but it's difficult," he told Neue Presse. "He is a good player, but we have been working on something else (Beasley) and we appear to be in the final phase of that deal."

Standby

Hannover could also bring in former Celtic loan star Landry N'Guemo before Tuesday's transfer deadline, with the Cameroonian having missed out on a permanent move to Parkhead. With his contract at Nancy set to expire next summer, the French outfit are keen to move him on and are willing to accept a bid of around €1million (£823,000). "I am on standby and waiting to see if I will stay here until the end of the season or not," Guemo told skysports.com. "Anything is still possible but, fingers crossed, hopefully a deal can be found to satisfy all parties."
