Striker keen to play after Saints struggles
Scott Dobie is determined to make the most of his opportunity after joining Bradford City on loan from St Johnstone for the rest of the season.
The experienced striker linked up with St Johnstone last summer, but he has made just five appearances for the SPL club.
He has now returned to English football with Bradford and the 32-year-old is keen to help the League Two strugglers make progress up the table.
"I'm hungry to play games and to try and score some goals," Dobie told the club's
official website.
Delighted
"I could easily have stayed at St Johnstone and remained a squad player, but I want to play as many games as possible at my stage of my career.
"I originally moved to the SPL to try and achieve something new and different in my career, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have worked out so far.
"I'm delighted to be given this opportunity at Bradford and I just want to get back to trying to play as many games as possible and to score as many goals as possible.
"I won't lie and say that I haven't seen the table, but I am also aware in football that sometimes the league table doesn't reflect the talent and ability that is in a squad.
"I'll just be taking one game at a time and I hope I can do well for Bradford and just grab some goals that will hopefully move us in the right direction."
