Striker ends fruitless spell at Dutch club
Striker Jhon van Beukering has departed Feyenoord for Indonesian side Pelita Jaya after making just three appearances for the Dutch club.
The Dutch-Indonesian forward, who only arrived in Rotterdam in December last year from Go Ahead Eagles, failed to make an impact for the Eredivisie club, playing just 108 minutes of first-team football.
Soren Larsen's arrival on loan from Toulouse in the January transfer window saw Van Beukering lose his spot on the Feyenoord bench.
Lack of playing time prompted the 27-year-old to look elsewhere, and he has now penned a three-year deal with Pelita Jaya.
Van Beukering's move to Indonesia marks the end of an 11-year spell plying his trade in Holland, during which he has featured for NEC and De Graafschap after beginning his senior career with Vitesse.
