Winger back in full training after two months out with knee injury

Hull City winger Richard Garcia is hoping he will soon be in a position to press for a first-team comeback. Garcia has yet to play for the Tigers in 2011 after undergoing a knee operation, but he is now back in full training. The Australia international missed his country's Asian Cup campaign due to the injury and is looking forward to getting back on the pitch for Hull. "It's really good to be back out on the training ground and kicking a ball again," Garcia told the club's official website.

Different role

"It's been a while, but it's nice to be getting back into the swing of things. "I had been enjoying my football and I was experiencing a different role, playing up front by myself. "We started to find our feet, get together as a team and started getting the results we wanted. That has continued which is great. "Hopefully I can get some match fitness back and get a few practice games under my belt. From there, I will try and push for a starting spot."
