Preston North End keeper Wayne Henderson has had his contract cancelled with immediate effect.

Keeper moves on after just 10 appearances in over four years

Preston North End goalkeeper Wayne Henderson has had his contract cancelled with immediate effect. Henderson's deal at Deepdale was due to expire at the end of the season, but manager Phil Brown has allowed the 27-year-old to leave now. The 27-year-old joined Preston from Brighton & Hove Albion over four years ago, but has been plagued by back problems over the past couple of seasons. He made just 10 appearances during his time at Preston and his last game for the club was in the final match of the 2009/10 season away at Reading.
