Bundesliga club give up on Sebo pursuit and explore other options

Hannover have admitted defeat in their attempts to sign former Rangers striker Filip Sebo from Slovakia top division side SK Slovan Bratislava. The Bundesliga club's general manager, Jorg Schmadtke, released a statement to confirm that Slovan have refused to sell the 27-year-old. Sebo, who was at Rangers between 2006 and 2008, has just one year left on his contract to mean that he could leave for free in 12 months, but Hannover will now explore different options. Schmadtke said: "We have been interested in the signature of Filip Sebo from Slovan Bratislava. "We received information from Slovan Bratislava yesterday that they would not allow Filip Sebo to have a transfer this summer. "We will now be considering other options available to us."
