Wide-man has cut down on mistakes to impress Hertha
Hertha Berlin have revealed they are ready to offer wide-man Patrick Ebert a new contract.
The former Germany Under 21 international's current deal is due to expire at the end of this season.
But Ebert, 24, is a regular in the Hertha first team this season after overcoming the injury problems which have plagued his previous campaigns.
And general manager Michael Preetz told
Berliner Morgenpost: "We are looking into this. Patrick Ebert has been making certain progress in recent months.
"He is producing a fine balancing act between attacking moments and defensive duties.
"He has clearly reduced the amount of bad passes. He is a regular for our club and we have an interest in keeping him a player of our club."
