Dagenham & Redbridge striker Josh Scott has signed a new two-year contract with the League Two strugglers.
Still happy to have secured striker's future
Dagenham & Redbridge striker Josh Scott has signed a new two-year contract with the League Two strugglers.
Scott joined the Daggers from Hayes & Yeading in 2009, but has struggled with fitness issues over the past couple of seasons.
The 26-year-old has scored once in 14 appearances this term and Daggers boss John Still is happy to have secured Scott's future.
"We've been talking to Josh for a while, his contract was up at the end of season but he feels that the club has been very good to him through a difficult time for him," Still told the club's
official website.
"He's had the blood clot and the knee injury so negotiations were quite easy and quite sensible.
"Josh has pledged his future here for two more years after this season and I think we're all seeing him getting back to the form we know he's capable of and the fitness levels we know can bring great success to the club.
"We're all absolutely delighted to have this sorted, that's club and player."
