Fiorentina midfielder David Pizarro has set his sights on a move back to England this summer, Sky Sports understands.
Pizarro enjoyed a spell on loan at Manchester City during the second half of the 2011/12 season, making seven appearances in all competitions.
The Chile international is now hoping to secure a move back to the Premier League this summer and the news has alerted a number of clubs.
Pizarro's agent claimed earlier this month that the former Roma man was prepared to leave Fiorentina and it is understood England is his preferred destination.
Manchester City have been credited with an interest in Pizarro with his compatriot Manuel Pellegrini set to be appointed as the new manager at the Etihad Stadium, but a number of other clubs are thought to be keeping tabs on the playmaker.
