Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has joined French champions PSG on a five-year deal.

The 25-year-old from Merzig, who has spent the last three years with Frankfurt, will provide competition for Salvatore Sirigu and Nicolas Douchez.

He made 22 Bundesliga appearances for the club last season, keeping five clean sheets as they finished ninth in the table, just three points off a Europa League spot.

Sirigu, meanwhile, kept 12 clean sheets for Laurent Blanc's men in the most recent campaign, and Trapp will face a stern test to establish himself as a regular starter ahead of the Italian.

In a statement on their official website, PSG announced Trapp had signed a five-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2020.
